My own Joconde
Modern interpretation of the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci, the Mona Lisa, painted between 1503 and 1506. The reproduction of this work is difficult, and a particularity of this painting is that look that follows you whatever the angle of vision.
Honestly this Mona Lisa is not really beautiful, and yet, even in the time of Leonardo da Vinci, it was copied several times for study or because this work was already a reference! I interpret it in a modern way. Farewell to the "sfumato", on the contrary, I work on the straight, firm, clear and precise line, and practice on the other hand the "chiaroscuro" (or chiaroscuro).
Acrylic popart on canvas.
Custom-made frame included in the price.
The frame is an extension of the canvas.
